Assignments- You can Submit all your papers via Dropbox in D2L. The overview video explains the basic functionality of Dropbox.
Classlist – Classlist tool is used to view those students enrolled in your course, to identify who is currently working online and contact those users via email and the pager tool (instant messages).
Course Content – Course Content is where you can access all your course materials, check for upcoming events and to download required materials.
Discussions – Discussions tool is a collaboration area where you can post, read and reply to messages on different topics, share thoughts about course materials, ask questions, share files, or where students can work with peers on assignments and homework.
ePortfolio – An ePortfolio is an ‘electronic portfolio,’ which is simply a collection of digital artifacts that you pull together and assemble into a format that you can share with others. One of the benefits of using the D2L ePortfolio is that it is linked right inside of D2L, so it is easy to find and use.
Grades – Grades tool enables you to view your grades in that course.

Pulse (Mobile App for Students) –
Quizzes – Quizzes tool enables you to take online exams, if you have any. This video is a demonstration about how it works.
User Progress – The User Progress area contains reports and summaries of your progress in all areas of the course.
Wiggio – Wiggio is a web application integrated in MyCourses that provides tools for group collaboration. Groups can be created by anyone (students or instructors) and are not necessarily specific to a course.
