On-site technical staff members are available in Lawson Hall and will provide you with support for the major auditoriums and Technology Enhanced Classrooms across campus. Each of these classrooms provides you with access to the Internet via both the computer in the podiums or an instructor’s laptop computer. These classrooms are equipped to provide you with a full range of audiovisual resources including:
- Projection for video
- Laptop connectivity
- DVD capabilities
- Overhead projection
- Slide projection (in most auditoriums)
In addition, you can request audio/visual equipment for any classroom you use. Instructional Technology also offers you user training for the equipment in both the auditoriums and Smart Rooms. CTE staff can also assist in obtaining instructional videos and DVDs for teaching. If you need keys to access podiums, they can be checked out for the semester through the CTE front desk, Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM at 618-453-2258.
